At the beginning of June 2023, a charity auction took place in Kyiv, organized by the “Art Initiative” foundation. Among the charitable lots were paintings by artist Yana Rusnak. One of them was created exclusively for the auction – an image of a horse depicted using triangles, which holds the symbol of the unity of the nature of the Universe: Heaven, Earth, Being. The horse here symbolizes victory, strength, and peace, dynamically racing amidst deep waters that convey both infinite power and tranquility.
“I am very happy to have the opportunity to be part of a collective effort for the sake of children. The rocket attacks on our cities continue. Every day, Ukrainian children are losing their lives. This is certainly not how childhood should be. At least now, children will have comfortable conditions to hide from rockets and debris and preserve their lives,” comments Yana Rusnak on her participation.
The funds received from the sale will be directed towards the renovation of the bomb shelters at the “Ohmatdyt” hospital.
