Biography & Concept

Ukrainian contemporary artist. Born in Cherkassy, Ukraine on 11th November 1993.
The concept of Yana Rusnak paintings is an allegory, how human emotions and character are intertwined with the animal world.
Every figure of the composition consists of triangles. Each triangle has a special meaning and code. The values of the triangle are multifaceted: creativity, harmony, integration, subjectivity, manifestation, lightening, ascension.
This universalism is what captures the themes of magic, occultism, creativity, and unites in triangle symbol. Indeed, the meaning of triangle is inseparable from the number three.
All mystical teachings include three forces at their corners.
Numerologically speaking, if the number "One" denotes power, "Two" represents a discovery, then "Three" is the birth of true wisdom.

In each painting you can observe the colors of two precious metals: gold and silver. Silver is the symbol of the moon. Silver symbolize innocence, purity, mercy. Gold is a symbol of the sun. It symbolizes stability, high value, is not exposed got the air, water and even most acids, it cannot be dissolved or printed. Aurum - Latin name of gold. Gold expresses the splendor and radiance of the sun best and is the only metal that does not tarnish over time.
In the images of her paintings we see a fusion of the figurative and the abstract. By looking towards the best traditions of contemporary world art, Yana has been able to create a new special form where painting and photography are the tools. Through the photographs, which are conceptual quotations, the artist reveals the idea of the project. They are fixated on the ‘dialogue with the universe’. Music, Light, Nature, the Galaxy are the life-affirming emotion of golden energy. Each of the author’s works contains a gold nugget.
